Jen Semler is a doctoral candidate in philosophy at Reuben College. She holds an MPhil in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, an MA in Medieval Icelandic Studies from the University of Iceland, and a BA in Philosophy and Public Policy from Duke University.

 

Research interests:

Jen’s research focuses on the conceptual and technological possibility of artificial moral agency. She is interested in both theoretical and practical questions about the role of AI in moral action, judgment, and decision-making.
