Kindly schedule your visit to the Institute in advance and check in at the reception upon arrival, as access above ground floor is restricted.
The main Oxford University website provides advice on travel to Oxford, and here are a few tips depending on your mode of transport.
Bicycle: If you cycle, there are abundant cycle racks close to the building.
Bus: Regular bus services run from the Pear Tree Park & Ride to the north of the city. The Oxford Bus Company runs The Airline bus service with frequent and regular trips from Healthrow and Gatwick to the city centre and the Oxford Tube service runs 24/7 to London Victoria Station with a number of stops both in Oxford and within the London area.
Car: If you are travelling to Oxford by car, public parking in the city centre is limited; therefore, we advise using the Park & Ride services on the city outskirts. Please refer to the Oxford City parking website for guidance on local parking facilities. Please note that the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter does not have parking spaces for visitors.
Train: The Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities is approximately 20 minutes on foot from the Oxford train station (OX1 1HS).
