The Institute offers a Short-Term Visitor Programme for both academic and non-academic individuals wishing to visit for a period of less than one term. Applicants must demonstrate that their expertise and interests align closely with the Institute’s research themes and priorities. A limited number of places are available each term.
Please note that all visitors are expected to pursue their work independently. The Institute does not provide academic supervision or formal support from faculty members.
Visitors staying in Oxford for less than one month will not be eligible for a University card. As a result, access to University facilities, including libraries and certain buildings, will be restricted.
Applicants are responsible for securing their own funding, as the Institute does not offer financial support for short-term visits. However, in exceptional cases, the Institute may consider waiving associated fees.
For full details on the application process, fee structure, and other essential information, please refer to our Visitor Policy.
